Your Roles

RoleDescription
TeachTeachers are expected to be well versed with the subject being taught. They will write or update their student manuals and/or handouts. Online classes—teachers need to have advanced knowledge of Zoom.
CoachCoaches are expected to have a good working knowledge of the subject. They are to review lessons before they are taught. They must be patient and able to work well with both the teacher and the students.
PresentationsMust be able to work well with a team to create and present information about SeniorNet to interested groups.
ITMust have a background in technology and be able to work with both hardware and software. Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets is a plus!
Road RunnersMust have a well-rounded knowledge about SeniorNet, and good communication skills including a pleasant disposition and enjoys speaking with others. Travel to scheduled events and provide handouts and information about SeniorNet.
Special EventsHospitality - Organizes Special Event activities for volunteers and students, including shopping for and delivering supplies (e.g. decorations, food) to the location of the event.
Office StaffHave an ability to work with Microsoft Office as well as being able to communicate via the phone and emails. Must volunteer at least two and a half hours every week.
Volunteer CommitteeMust have a pleasant disposition and enjoy speaking with others. Interview, assess, and help place new volunteers. Must maintain and update a volunteer database. Must be willing to attend volunteer events.
FinanceMust have experience in working with corporate finances.
